Background
Over five years, Whistleblower Aid has established itself as the leading advocacy organization for whistleblowers. They have successfully represented over 45 high-profile cases, won 18 legal battles against multinational corporations, and challenged 12 additional major companies. Their work has saved taxpayers millions while providing critical support to individuals speaking out against wrongdoing. Comprised entirely of whistleblowers, their team brings a unique understanding of the challenges faced by those who come forward, offering comprehensive, 360-degree support to their courageous clients. As the only full-time nonprofit dedicated exclusively to whistleblower advocacy, they needed a website that accurately reflected their success, credibility, impact, and mission.
Updated Web Site

Previous Web Site

Catalyst
Like many startup groups, Whistleblower Aid’s digital presence and marketing had fallen behind and no longer accurately conveyed the organization’s mission or highlighted its successes. The site was outdated and burdensome to use. It didn’t showcase any examples of their work or dedicated team.. Catalyst Campaigns was tasked with redesigning its online presence to create a user-friendly, visually compelling, and highly secure platform. The goal was to set this uniquely focused, results-driven organization apart from the many law firms and advocacy groups that occasionally take on whistleblower cases—all while ensuring the site operated without tracking cookies or storing personal data.
Outcome
The new website elevated Whistleblower Aid’s brand, making it easier for donors, media, and whistleblowers to engage with the organization. Key features included:
- A custom animated mural showcasing their work with government agencies and corporations.
- A fixed navigation menu with an easily accessible, branded red whistle icon for secure communication.
- A custom-built case study database highlighting the organization’s legal victories and advocacy efforts.
- Seamless integration of SEO-friendly blogging, a press release archive, and social media platforms.
This redesigned platform successfully enhanced Whistleblower Aid’s ability to tell its full story. The site has helped increase the organization’s visibility, credibility, and fundraising efforts while maintaining the highest security standards to protect all communications with future whistleblowers. Libby Lio, CEO of Whistleblower Aid stated, “We are thrilled that Whistleblower Aid’s new website now tells the stories of our brave clients and our mission to build a resilient democracy in such a powerful and meaningful way.” She continued, “Scott Goodstein and Catalyst Campaigns developed an extraordinary platform by collaborating so thoughtfully with us to realize our vision. We are grateful to him and his team.”
